Stardew Valley review
Delilah Turner
Stardew Valley is a game that looks like a farm simulation game, but is really a role-playing game. You inherit your grandfather's farm in a small town. You have to build your farm up, and work to make money to increase the size of your farm. As you do this, you can get married, and have children. You can choose your gender, and there is an entire cast of characters you can marry, with a cast of characters you can befriend. You can fight monsters to the north of your farm, and you can also fish and mine. You can also explore the entire map, and there is a large dungeon you can explore.
Gameplay
Stardew Valley gameplay is often compared to classic Harvest Moon games. It is an RPG and Sandbox with a time-based schedule like the one in Minecraft. This is a review of the game in terms of gameplay.
The game is a farming simulator. You have to manage your time, energy and money to make the most out of your day. If you want to get the most out of your game time, you should avoid doing other things and focus on farming.
The game is very addictive. The mechanics are very deep, and you can spend countless hours on it.
Graphics
Graphics of Stardew Valley are pixelated and old-school style. This style is a favorite among people who love retro games. Pixelated graphics are in fashion now. A lot of indie games have been released with pixelated graphics. The pixelated graphics of Stardew Valley are very attractive. Stardew Valley graphics are very simple and that's why it is easy to play it even on a little screen of a mobile phone.
Controls
The controls for Stardew Valley on PC are simple and intuitive. When you first launch the game, you will be prompted to select your control scheme. After a little bit of playing around with the controls, I found the default option to be the most comfortable. The controls are simple, but they can take some time to get used to.
Replayability
This game belongs to the sandbox genre so it has high replayability because you simply can play the game again and again with different strategies and that will change everything. So, this is a game that you can play again and again and never get bored.
Conclusion
Stardew Valley is a great farming simulator. It has a lot of depth and it is very addictive. The pixelated graphics are charming and the controls are simple and tight. The game can be played on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It is a cross-platform game. If you have never played a Harvest Moon game, then you should definitely try Stardew Valley.
