PUBG Esports Unveils Ambitious 2025 Season Roadmap with Major Tournaments and Partnership Evaluations

The competitive landscape of PUBG: Battlegrounds is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season. While numerous significant tournaments are planned for 2024, including the prestigious Global Championship in December, Krafton has proactively outlined its vision for the upcoming season.

A recent blog post detailed the schedule, indicating that the season will kick off in March with Regional Series events. This will be succeeded by Series 7 and Series 8, part of the PUBG Global Tournament, set for April and May. In June, the PUBG Nations Cup will take place, followed by additional Regional Series in July. August seems to be open, potentially reserving time for an Esports World Cup event. As September rolls around, more Regional Series will take place, leading into Series 9 and Series 10 of the Global Series in October and November. The season will culminate with the Global Championship in December.

In a notable shift for the new season, Krafton will assess the existing 10 partner teams as if they were new contenders in order to ensure a vibrant and competitive partner landscape. The final list of partner teams for 2025 will be announced after the evaluation process concludes in February.
