How to Play Borderlands 3 – A Guide to the Game’s Unique Systems and Gameplay

Borderlands 3 is an open world, action role-playing video game and the third major title in the Borderlands series, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide on September 13, 2019.

Borderlands 3 is a first-person shooter that features role-playing elements. Set after the events of Borderlands 2 with a new villain, the game follows the four original playable characters from the previous games, now in search of a new Vault on the planet of Pandora.

Tips for Playing Borderlands 3

I’ve prepared a list of ten tips to help players get the most out of the Borderlands 3 experience. This list will cover general gameplay, in-game items, and general tips for the first few hours of gameplay.

Tip 1: Always try to get in front of enemies, this way you can use your melee attacks, which, by the way, are a little faster than the gun attacks.

Tip 2: You can carry two weapons at once, and you have a special ability to switch between them with just a press of a button.

Tip 3: The shield is your best friend, keep it at all times because it will block all the incoming bullets.

Tip 4: You can use grenades to disable enemies and do a lot of damage, but do it carefully because you can damage yourself as well.

Tip 5: Your special attack is a great way to wipe out multiple enemies, but it is not very powerful and it needs time to recharge.

Tip 6: The robots are the real danger, they can jump from a great distance and they are really accurate with their guns.

Tip 7: Take cover, if you stay in the open they will easily spot you and shoot you down.

Tip 8: You can use the environment to your advantage, if you throw a grenade at an explosive barrel, it will explode and damage nearby enemies.

Tip 9: Borderlands 3 is a looter shooter. You'll want to focus on maximizing the amount of loot you get from enemies. Use things like elemental shields to do more damage to enemies with elemental weaknesses.

Tip 10: The blue colored enemies are the weakest, but in the later stages they get better shields, so be careful.

Conclusion

Borderlands 3 is a fun, addictive, and challenging game. It is full of personality and has a ton of replayability. Borderlands is a fun game with some difficulties, so I hope you like this basic guide to help you enjoy the game more. Good luck, and happy hunting!
